It is usually characterized by severe (often thunderclap) headache, visual disturbances, cranial nerve impairments, and hormonal deficiencies. We herein report a case of a previously healthy woman with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection associated with pituitary apoplexy. The plausible pathophysiological mechanisms of pituitary apoplexy in infectious coronavirus disease 2019 are discussed.enAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/COVID-19SARS-CoV-2pituitary apoplexyA Rare Case of SARS-CoV-2 Infection Associated With Pituitary Apoplexy Without Comorbidities.research article33501401open access10.1210/jendso/bvaa2032472-1972PMC7798947https://academic.oup.com/jes/article-pdf/5/3/bvaa203/41725276/bvaa203.pdfhttps://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7798947/pdf
