Aten Primaria. 2021 Jan;53(1):102-103http://hdl.handle.net/10668/14863A 63-year-old man presented with severely itching dermatitis without other signs or symptoms. His medical history was unremarkable. On physical examination, confluent erythematous micropapules in a linear and parallel pattern on the trunk were observed, simulating a whiplash-striped appearance (Figs. 1 and 2). He denied contact with plants and had not received bleomycin. Two days before the onset, the patient ate grilled shiitake mushrooms at an Asian restaurant, and afterward, he went to the beach. Laboratory studies showed eosinophilia (700 cells/mcL), while C-reactive protein, TSH, ferritin, and creatine phosphokinase were within normal ranges, and antinuclear antibodies were negative.enAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/C-Reactive ProteinPhysical ExaminationEosinophiliaAntibodies, AntinuclearDermatitisHumansShiitake MushroomsFlagellate dermatitis secondary to intake shiitake mushrooms.research article31864756open accessEosinofiliaDermatitisProteĆna C-ReactivaCreatina QuinasaPruritoAnticuerpos Antinucleares10.1016/j.aprim.2019.09.0081578-1275PMC7752961https://doi.org/10.1016/j.aprim.2019.09.008https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7752961/pdf
