Image Gallery: Complete remission of aggressive desmoid-type fibromatosis after low-dose methotrexate for 2 weeks in a child with psoriasis. Br J Dermatol. 2016 Oct;175(4):e122http://hdl.handle.net/10668/10466A 13‐year‐old girl with psoriasis presented with a 13 × 8‐cm subcutaneous mass in her shoulder (a, b). Strangely enough, she had had a radiologically similar mass in her leg, but it had suddenly vanished after starting treatment with low‐dose methotrexate for her psoriasis. A magnetic resonance imaging scan and biopsy of the current tumour were consistent with desmoid‐type fibromatosis (c, f). As surgery was rejected, we prescribed methotrexate 15 mg weekly. After 2 weeks, remission was complete and treatment suspended (d, e). Two years later there has been no recurrence. Desmoid‐type fibromatosis is a benign but infiltrative and recurrent tumour.1 Low‐dose methotrexate has been used successfully in some studiesenPsoriasisMagnetic Resonance ImagingRecurrenceLaparoscopyAdolescentDermatologic AgentsFemaleFibromatosis, AggressiveHumansMethotrexatePsoriasisRemission InductionImage Gallery: Complete remission of aggressive desmoid-type fibromatosis after low-dose methotrexate for 2 weeks in a child with psoriasis.research article27650749Restricted AccessFibromaPsoriasisRecurrenciaCirugía GeneralImagen por Resonancia Magnética10.1111/bjd.148581365-2133https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/pdfdirect/10.1111/bjd.14858
