Non anatomic reinsertion after amputation of the anterior horn of the lateral meniscus. Orthop Traumatol Surg Res. 2019 Oct;105(6):1115-1118http://hdl.handle.net/10668/14096Anatomical reinsertion is the optimal treatment for meniscal root injuries. However, in chronic settings, tissue fraying of the meniscal root may impede it. This study describes a salvage technical procedure performed in 3 cases of chronic anterior root avulsion of the lateral meniscus with profuse tissue degeneration in which remnant debridement resulted in amputation of the root. Reinsertion of the meniscus at the remaining healthy tissue was performed using an all-inside anchoring technique.enAnterior lateral meniscal rootArthroscopyKneeMeniscusReinsertionÁrea de Gestión Sanitaria Norte de MálagaAdultAmputation, SurgicalArthroscopyFemaleHumansKnee InjuriesMagnetic Resonance ImagingMaleMenisci, TibialMiddle AgedReplantationTibial Meniscus InjuriesNon anatomic reinsertion after amputation of the anterior horn of the lateral meniscus.research article31182389Restricted AccessTejidosAmputación quirúrgicaHeridas y lesionesTerapéuticaJurisprudenciaMeniscos tibialesDesbridamientoMenisco10.1016/j.otsr.2019.04.0071877-0568https://doi.org/10.1016/j.otsr.2019.04.007
