By showing the presence of specific neutralizing antibodies in human serum collected in Granada, we show that Granada virus infects humans. The analysis of the complete genome of Granada virus revealed that this agent is likely to be a natural reassortant of the recently described Massilia virus (donor of the long and short segments) with ayet unidentified phlebovirus (donor of the medium segment) PB American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene SN 0002-9637 YR 2010 FD 2010-10 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10668/398 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10668/398 LA en NO Collao J, Palacios G, de Ory F, Sanbonmatsu S, Pérez-Ruiz M, Navarro JM ,et al.Granada virus: a natural phlebovirus reassortant of the sandfly fever Naplesserocomplex with low seroprevalence in humans.
