They are not normally found in peripheral blood, and the immunophenotype is virtually indistinguishable from that of B lymphoblasts. We discuss the case of a3-month infant with an active cytomegalovirus infection, with hepatitis and pancytopenia associated with 13% hematogones in the bone marrow PB Libertas Academica YR 2008 FD 2008-05-20 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10668/633 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10668/633 LA en NO Moreno-Madrid F, Uberos J, Díaz-Molina M, Ramírez-Arredondo A, Jiménez-Gámiz P, Molina-Carballo A.The Presence of Precursors of Benign Pre-B Lymphoblasts (Hematogones) in the Bone Marrow of a Paediatric Patient with Cytomegalovirus Infection.Clin Med Oncol. 2008;2:437-9 NO Case report DS RISalud RD Apr 12, 2025
