%X Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), has emerged as a global health crisis [1]. Patients with cardiovascular disease seem particularly susceptible to severe COVID-19 [2]. Among patients hospitalized for COVID-19, heart failure (HF) has been reported as a factor associated with potential risk for worse outcomes [3,4]. However, to date, specific data on the clinical profile, course, and prognosis of patients with a history of HF are limited [4-6].
