Survival status of each patient was further verified by cross checking with the Spanish National Death Index. During a total follow-up of 37608 person-years, 336 (10%) patients died. Annual death rate was 0.89% and standardized mortality ratio (SMR) 2.64 [95% confidence interval (CI) 2.3-3.0; P %K Adult congenital heart disease %K Heart defects %K Congenital %K Follow-up studies %K Excess mortality %K Risk factors for death %K Pediatric cardiac-surgery %K Follow-up %K Survival prospects %K United-states %K Population %K Mortality %K Trends %K Death %K Defects %K Age %~
