RT Journal Article T1 Esophageal compression by a mediastinal vascular structure as a result of a dysphagia lusoria. A1 Fernández Álvarez, Paula A1 Valladolid León, José Manuel A1 Caunedo Álvarez, Ángel AB Dysphagia lusoria is an uncommon cause of mechanical dysphagia due to extrinsic compression. It is a congenital aortic root abnormality that occurs as a consequence of an aberrant right subclavian artery, in most cases. We report an illustrative case of dysphagia lusoria in a young female, secondary to the presence of the abnormal mediastinal vessel.
