dc.description.abstractHepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the fourth most common cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. Up to 80% of patients with HCC have concomitant cirrhosis as a result of hepatitis B or C virus, alcohol abuse, or non-alcoholic steatohepatitis.
