Abstract

We would like to congratulate the authors, Samed MagdySarsyk and Heba Saed El-Amawy on a thorough literature review[1] that shows not only a comprehensive understanding of der-matological therapies but also the willingness to exploreunorthodox alternatives overlapping other tangential areas ofMedicine. This review shows a refreshing and systematizedapproach to some uncommon therapies, since eye drops arenot among the usual dermatological arsenal. Admittedly, weourselves frequently rely on such therapies and therefore wewould like to present a recent case of a 16-year-old womanwho was referred to our Department due to moderate-severeocular granulomatous rosacea that has been successfully treatedwith cyclosporine eye drops despite their alleged low qualityevidence [2,3]
