Abstract
A pseudoaneurysm is the dilation of a vessel due to disruption of all wall layers, which is only contained by the perivascular connective tissue. Pseudoaneurysms can appear in any location, but early diagnosis is necessary when located at large vessels, such as aorta, because of the high risk of rupture due to increased wall afterload. We report a rare case of multiple pseudoaneurysms at the ascending aorta associated with lung adenocarcinoma. In these cases, thoracic angio-computed tomography (angio-CT) is the preferred imaging test, because it allows optimal differential diagnosis with other diseases. Surgical thoracic endovascular aortic repair is the treatment of choice (TEVAR). (C) 2021 Sociedad Espanola de Cirugia Cardiovascular y Endovascular. Published by Elsevier Espana, S.L.U.
