Abstract

With the breadth of new psychoactive substances andinternational policy changes, an analysis of specificresponses in all areas of drug supply and demand is beyondthe resources of a single country. The Scientific Committee ofthe European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and DrugAddiction calls for a strengthening of global monitoring andevidence synthesis and a renewed vigour in collaborativeefforts to expand training, research and the quality andcomparability of data across Europe and beyond.
